Fairfax came to us with the proposition of a new annual citywide fun run for Christchurch. We came up with the name of the event - Summer Starter - and hand crafted a typographic solution for the logotype - a liquid, bubbly, linking device. Using local Cantabrians in the photoshoot we treated the images and brand with summer hues of pink and orange. A well attended event with over 4000 people in year one sees Summer Starter version 2 well under way. Partners in the event were Brown Bread and Make collective on events, sponsorship and strategy.
