We created an illustration style that could be used on large posters and then separated out into smaller chunks. The large poster became a visual representation of the city as a whole with key icons hidden within. This ended up being a promotional piece that was given away. The illustrations were created and then textured to reference our slightly broken city and smaller icons of interest pulled out onto a map showing the Cardboard Cathedral, The broken Square, ChCh Artbox and key recognisable buildings of interest. It became the most popular Neat Places Guide yet and the style is continuing to evolve into a 2015 version as the city takes shape.
